Haverfoodfest will go ahead on Saturday 4th May 2019 and the Committee is working on a new format, which will change the format of the popular local food fest and bring it into the streets of the centre of Haverfordwest town.
Fifty high-quality food and drink stallholders from Wales have signed up. This will see stalls scattered around town, from Quay Street, Castle Square, Bridge Street to The Old Bridge and Square and The Riverside with lots of tasters and offers of great food and drink. There will be acoustic musicians in two places to create a relaxing, family friendly atmosphere as well as two children’s entertainers walking around a balloon maker, offering balloons to children, and a juggler teaching children to juggle. Many businesses and shops will showcase what they offer with plenty of samples and freebies.
Hence the foodfest becomes a town fest with free access all around the town center and involving all the existing pubs, eateries, shops and other businesses of the town too as many will put on offers and events on the day to complement the stalls. It is a long time since Haverfordwest has seen such a comprehensive festival that encompasses the entire town center and as many shops as possible.
